How to safely sterilize/clean a fabric facemask: Wash in a 60 degree wash with non-bio washing powder and without fabric conditioner.
How to safely remove a used fabric facemask: Be careful not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth when removing your facemask and wash your hands immediately after removing.
Fabric facemasks should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, anyone who is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
